Dying Matters exhibition at Leeds City Museum

From December 2016 until the end of July 2017 an exciting new Dying Matters community display will be on show at Leeds City Museum. By exploring objects related to death from a range of cultures, from an Egyptian shabti to a Victorian funeral cart, the exhibition seeks to start conversations and to encourage visitors to think about, and plan for, their own end of life.

Leeds Bereavement Forum is working closely with Leeds City Museum and have organised a number of events in partnership. For a full list of events download the Dying Matters Programme 2017 (.pdf). The exhibition is part of the national Dying Matters initiative which promotes public awareness of dying, death and bereavement.
