Developing a peer bereavement support group for your organisation

Do you facilitate or are planning to set up a peer support group for people who have been bereaved? We can run in-house training for your staff team to give you the skills and confidence to run your own peer bereavement support groups on-line or in your venue.

The training would be most suitable for people who:

Already facilitate or are planning to set up a peer bereavement support group
Have had little or no formal training in bereavement

What will the training cover?

This course aims to increase general awareness and understanding around grief and loss as well as exploring some of the main issues to consider when setting up and facilitating a support group for people who have been bereaved.

We are currently able to offer this course in-house for up to 10 participants as a half day online session via Zoom. Prices for in-house training sessions start at around £100 an hour (for voluntary and statutory organisations).
