Cruse Bereavement Support in Leeds is an inclusive organisation that offers support to bereaved people aged 18 and over to help them understand their grief and cope with their losses.

  • The type of support offered will be dependent on the client’s needs following assessment.
  • Support ranges from information, signposting, and advice, by telephone, email, and zoom, to in-person support, provided by trained bereavement dedicated support volunteers.
  • The type of support offered considers the client’s ability and comfort in participating in one-to-one sessions, based on a ‘talking’ based support model.

Due to the high demand, the branch runs a waiting list for support. When you get in touch with your local branch, they will let you know whether they are currently running a waiting list and how long you might expect to wait before receiving support.
