The Grammar of Grief

Join poet and performer Erin Bolens for tea, biscuits and a practical poetry workshop. Explore legacy, loss, and ways to use creative writing to navigate the grieving process and normalise conversations around mortality. This session is for those who want to understand more about either poetry or the intricacies of grief and would like to have a go at combining the two in a supportive, informal environment.

No previous writing experience required.

About Erin

Erin is a poet, performer and facilitator from Leeds whose writing covers a broad range of topics with warmth and wit. She teaches and performs across the country and is currently touring her show ‘What We Leave Behind’ exploring legacy, loss and funeral buffets.

She is a Roundhouse Resident artist alumni, a former Glastonbury slam champion and has written for E4, Nationwide, BBC Stoke and Totally Thames Festival.
