Supporting children before a death – and supporting your service conference

Date: 8 December
Time: 10.30am – 3.30pm
Location: Oxford Place Centre, Oxford Place, Leeds LS1 3AX

Leeds Bereavement Forum in partnership with Childhood Bereavement Network (CBN) will be holding a one-day conference – Supporting children before a death – and supporting your service. The conference, free to Leeds Bereavement Forum and CBN members, will have a dual focus: supporting children before a death and resolving challenges in service delivery.

Supporting children before a death

With a focus on new resources and updates in this area of work, and working alongside young carers’ organisations. Whether you provide direct services to children before a death or work with them afterwards, this session will help you think through how you work alongside others locally who might be supporting children at this time of change and challenge.

Resolving challenges in service delivery

This section will cover some of the tricky things members have told us they’re dealing with, such as managing long waiting lists. We’re flexible about this section, so let us know when you register if there are some particularly hot topics you’d like to cover, and we’ll prepare accordingly. The events will include plenty of time for discussion, networking and catching up with colleagues.
Registration and refreshments from 10.30 and the main programme will start at 10.45.

To book your place visit EventBrite. If you’re not sure if your organisation is a Leeds Bereavement Forum member please contact info@lbforum.org.uk (it’s free to join either as an organisation or individual.)
