We will be running our twelfth virtual Death Café using Zoom. Apologies, participants will need to provide their own tea and cake this time!

Date and time

Please email us for the Zoom link and password.

Just a reminder for those who don’t know:

What is a Death Café?

At a Death Café people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. Death Cafés are an international movement dedicated to encouraging discussion about death and dying in a relaxed environment – a welcome opportunity to ask those awkward questions you always wanted to ask.

Age Proud Festival  | 6 – 17 September 2021

Our Death Café this month takes place as part of the Age Proud Festival. The festival aims to:

  • promote the wellbeing of older people in Leeds and have some fun!,
  • challenge the stereotype/perception of older age and turn the negatives into positives, and
  • showcase how many amazing activities there are for people aged 50+ in Leeds.

The festival will promote a range of activities taking place across Leeds. Venues will include libraries, art galleries, museums, theatres, cinemas, leisure centres, shopping centres and neighbourhood networks. For more information visit Age Proud Festival.
