Man2Man is a telephone based peer support service provided by trained StrongMen volunteers, with first-hand experience of losing a loved one. Men who contact StrongMen for support will be offered the opportunity to speak with a trained volunteer for a friendly chat. StrongMen can provide up to six weeks of peer support. Their Extra Time service runs alongside their Man2Man peer support service for when the needs of individuals fall outside the training and expertise that volunteers can provide. Man2Man Extra Time is staffed by fully qualified counsellors and this service is provided over 12 sessions to support those with complex needs and symptoms. Their Weekender service is for those that enjoy the outdoors. These events include; camping, climbing mountains, like Snowdon, as well as taking part in activities such as abseiling, zip wiring, and the opportunity to meet other men with similar experiences.
