Ever thought about becoming a trustee?

Leeds Bereavement Forum is looking for new Trustees to complement and strengthen our existing Board. We are a small charity based in Leeds which works to develop and improve bereavement services in the city.

The role?

You will take an active part in our quarterly Board meetings, attend our Annual General Meeting plus at least a couple of our events each year. The role is unpaid, although we will cover your expenses.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for people who have an understanding of and empathy with the voluntary sector and a knowledge of strategic planning and best practice employed in organisations. We would like you to have an interest about issues around dying, death and loss but we don’t necessarily expect to you be an expert. We are particularly looking for individuals who work in the area of:

  • Children and young people
  • Education
  • Business development and fundraising

We are looking for people who will use their networks to promote Leeds Bereavement Forum, its work and charitable aims.
