Annual General Meeting 2018

We are very pleased to announce our 2018 Annual General Meeting will take place on:

Date: Thursday 18 October
Venue: Leeds Church Institute
Time: 10am – midday (registration from 9.30am)

Life, Loss, Learning & Legacy Project

This year at our AGM we will be sharing the work of the Life, Loss, Learning & Legacy Project. This new project brings together people who have experienced bereavement to produce and share video stories that celebrate the defining experiences and impacts of lives lived; share how they have coped with the loss of loved ones; and use the emerging learning as a foundation for the next stage of their lives.

The video stories produced in 2018 are hopefully just the start of a longer term video storytelling partnership in Leeds that provides a creative coaching focus for supporting bereaved people and those at the end of life, to build greater well-being and connection with others. The Life, Loss, Learning & Legacy Project also provides support givers with a peer led video story bank that helps broker life affirming conversations with people who are really struggling to cope.

The project is being led by the Leeds video storytelling charity Lippy People with the support of multi-agency networks in Leeds. The delivery testing has been made possible with funds from the National Lottery Awards For All programme.
